You walk along the coast to reach the beautiful harbor of Villefranche, adorable colorful village, and its charming fishing port. A picnic of Provençal specialties is served to you in front of the sea. Free time then to discover this old corsair city which is distinguished by its citadel dating from the 16th century and its intertwining of narrow lanes.

The City of Nice organizes the traditional festival of Malonat which is dedicated to the Virgin in order to thank her for having driven from Nice the scourges of plague and cholera. The statue of the Virgin is carried during a ritual procession in the old Nice. A tradition that has not suffered any interruption since 1854.

I live in the neighborhood of Old Nice, which I know as my pocket, and that I like most.
